About Gable Cottage

Built circa 1700 Gable Cottage has recently been carefully and sympathetically renovated using traditional building techniques. This cosy cottage benefits from being located along a no-through lane ensuring a peaceful stay, far from the madding crowd. Each of our cosy cottage rooms is furnished to ensure your comfort. All rooms are en-suite with free-view T.V. and a DVD player along with all the other little necessities that make your stay more comfortable including free internet access and tea and coffee making facilities.

There is a choice of breakfasts available which can be served in the dining room or weather permitting, in the cottage garden. We take care to source local ingredients for our cooked breakfasts and offer both vegan and vegetarian options. Our bread, jams and preserves are home made, whilst fresh eggs are provided by our happy hens, Millie and Molly. We take pride in welcoming couples, singles and family parties into our home and providing them with a cosy and comfortable stay in the Dorset countryside. For our room rates please click here.
